What do you want to see in “The Windows 8 Power Users Guide”?

I have now begun to write “The Windows 8 Power Users Guide” in anger, having spent a few days having a deep dig into the Consumer Preview of the operating system.  This book, to be published by APress later in the year, is the first commercial version of my own “Power Users Guide” series which began with Windows Vista.  The 170 page Windows 7 Power Users Guide is now free and can be downloaded here.

This new book will be for enthusiasts, IT Pros and business users and I want to make sure that it’s your book all the way through.  So the question I have for you today is, now that the Consumer Preview version of Windows 8 has been released and you’ve all had a chance to either read about it or use it yourself, “What do you want to see in the Windows 8 Power Users Guide?”

Let me know here in the comments what type of book you would like to see.  Do you want me to focus on detailed step by step and how to tutorials or would you like a strong focus on customising the operating using registry and other hacks?  Perhaps you’d like strong information on using Windows 8 as a part of your digital world by making sure that it will integrate and work effectively with all your other operating systems and devices, whether they be from Microsoft or not.

Whatever it is that you want to see in a book for Windows 8 Power Users, and people who aspire to be power users and IT Pros, let me know and I’ll make sure it’s included.  I’ve always been very impressed how tech-savvy and knowledgeable you all are here at gHacks so if anybody’s going to have requests I know they’ll all be great.  With your help we can make sure that The Windows 8 Power Users Guide does more than go Inside Out, has much more than just Secrets and that it certainly isn’t for Dummies!

Increasing Brain Power and releasing Stress

Ways of increasing your mind power and releasing stress is not only simple, but you can also do both task at the same time. This is not a short term plan it can serve you long and it's a lifestyle changing activity. This take seems to be impossible for you if your current job makes you sit for a long or if you are a couch potato. But dear its rewards are great.

Mind Power ?EUR" Controlling Your Behavior

Despite of your all claims that you are able to control your behavior under all circumstances, you'll find it embarrassing that your claims are not reality based. Just think honestly and state and review your past; there might be a situation where you were unable to control your behavior. Definitely you'll find one. If you haven't experienced psychotherapy to eliminate the roots of ludicrousness from your brain, you are constantly under threats of your primeval wild side.
No matter how large the problem is; you can solve it using you mind power but before you use it, you need to unlock it. The biggest lock of mind power is the wandering mind. You must keep your wandering mind of using all the energy required to lead you life.
Your mind is wandering when you are thinking unrelated thoughts. You must have faced moments when you feel depressed, annoyed, unhappy, bored or angry and don't know the reason why you are feeling like that. Your experiences are not always responsible for your changed mood but most of the times its due to wandering mind.
Your emotions are more affected by your thoughts than your tasks.
Thoughts like thinking about a poignant experience which is not related to you, thinking to a person you don't like or trying to change the results of problem you have already solved are signs of wandering mind. You think them unintentionally and these thoughts affect you mood.
Unlocking your mind will reveal that you are not left with much mind power because most of it has been used by these wandering thoughts. Whatever you do or whatever you think; it requires energy and mind has some power limitations. All the goals and objectives you set for your future require energy. Don't ever think that without mind power you can achieve your goals in life.

1. Clasp your desires and passions.
Wandering mind is nothing but a product of mind when it works on default mode. To get rid of it, try to give something exciting things to think of. No longer you feel sad, angry or unhappy, start thinking about the goals you are ardent about. A holiday plan or an upcoming promotion can be the best things to think.
2. Shake off all irrelevant thoughts and recharge your mind
Don't think that meditation is the only tool to unlock your mind power. Though it works but be careful about the meditation technique you choose should help you focusing your targets. This will prove helpful in stopping your wandering mind.
3. Mitigate stress and unwind to inhibit mind wandering
There are a large number of ways through which you can get rid of stress. Spending time with fellows and exercise are excellent ways to get relief from stress. Excessive stress causes depression and becomes a source of rapid loss of mind power.

Once you manage to get rid of stress, you'll be able to take the right decision and will be able to control your brain and hence control your mind power.
